              All Creatures Great and Small, Naoko Stoop (Author) This miraculous book has such astonishing illustrations! We met Naoko Stoop at the Brooklyn Children's book fair and she was as gentle and sweet as her book. The words are the amazing hymn, Things Bright and Beautiful. Pick up your copy on Barnes & Noble here! and you can follow Naoko Stoop on her blog here! "How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well."

             A You're Adorable, Martha Alexander (Author, Illustrator). This is an amazing book for you and your little one; it brought tears to my eyes. The words are from the 1940's song and the illustrations are delicate. "A You're adorable, B You're so beautiful, C You're a cutie full of charm." Great for daddy and daughter!

For the Adult Heart, Mind and Soul:

            A Chance to Die, Elisabeth Elliot (Author) This is a go to book when your faith is low or your see yourself becoming lost in the hustle of today's life. It's an amazing biography based in the late 1800's to mid 1900's, about a humble, fire filled missionary, Amy Carmichael, who wanted Gods will at all cost!  She risked her life for the life of others! This book changed my life!

               Anytime Prayers for Everyday Moms, No Author, Donna J. Shepherd (Contributor), Gina Conroy (Contributor), Belinda Mooney (Contributor) This is my go to book when I do not know what to pray and can only see my circumstance. They have prayers and relevant scriptures that focus on anything from receiving peace, healing angry children, to helping a child struggling with addiction. Grab this book and learn positive confessions and prayers that will build your walk with God. I love my beat up copy and use it profusely!

              My 52 Weeks of Worship, Ekpedeme“Pamay” M. Bassey (Author) This was a gift from the Man I love, that blessed me deeply. The authors’ weekly journey to different places of worship, and emotional freedom, were lessons of wisdom for me. She is a fearless Christian who saw that knowledge of other beliefs would benefit and strengthen her Faith, not crush it! I learned, cried and embraced her words as if she was telling them to me herself! Ms. Bassey is an amazing writer who will have you hiding in the bathroom trying to finish the book in a week!

              The Screwtape Letters, C.S.Lewis (Author) Now if you are ready to get deep, then you know a book by late Clive Staples Lewis (1898-1963) will take you to the depths of spirituality and still speak simplicity. This book is a collection of letters from a demon, written to his demon soldier, whose job is to dissuade their human "Patients" from getting closer to God. This books storyline is intriguing, mysterious, humorous and just something you will never stop thinking about! A Must Read!

          The Greatest Salesman in the World, Og Mandino (Author) I describe this as a book that is simply all you need to sell your product or yourself! This is a love approach on sales and the true way to success! The Greatest Salesman in the world has changed my outlook of my business. I mainly work from home and now I have a foundation that is intense in impression and prosperous! 

  

            He Still Moves Stones, MaxLucado (Author) Are you a real life Christian that does not have a perfect existence? Well if you answered yes, you need to own this book. I received this book from a old roommate in 2006 and I still can curl up and be refreshed from this book. It discusses many of life challenges and how God will deliver us out of them all! Mr. Lucado is a writer that allows you to embrace the presence of God in his words! This is one of his best sellers and trust me it’s ordained to bring change!

        

Books for Intense Spiritual Development:

         Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, Cindy Jacobs, (Author) I love, love this book! If you are an Intercessor or feel called to be one; this should be one of your training manuals. It gives the ends and outs of this call. The author does not sugar coat anything and fills you with so much wisdom of being a Prayer Warrior. She uses  historical testimonies from many great leaders as examples. Do not hesitate to go to a new level in prayer with our King for his Kingdom. It's must buy!

   

              Florence Scovel Shinn - The Collection: The Game of Life And How To Play It, The Secret Door To Success, The Power of the Spoken Word, Your Word Is Your Wand, Florence Scovel Shinn (Author) I was given this book of Florence Shinn's collections as a gift from my big sister. Each time I go over this book I am instantly empowered and reminded that positive thinking and speaking is my shield! She will help you continually recognize the living Gods power and love! Every person should have this on his or her bookshelf.

              The Discipleship Series: A Comprehensive Outline Of Bible Study Notes [Paperback] Taka Sande (Author) The break down of this great read is, Christian Bible Study. I love study groups (when filled with the right people, lol). This is perfect for that! The author goes step by step in this manual, addressing “Who is God, Prayer, Soul Winning and Spiritual Warfare.” The author is also a person active in his community, Zimbabwe Mission Project, so he is living what he is writing about! Pick up a copy for your church bible study, study group or family night.

           Spiritual Warfare, Richard Ing (Author) Now if you lack understanding of spiritual warfare this is the book to help you understand. If you are familiar and want to go deeper, well please pick up a copy and grow! It explains things like curses and deliverance, with the scriptures to back it up. This is a book of facts that will open your eyes and help you walk with God, as we should!
