Daily Living

That particular cream in your coffee or that organic maple syrup for your pancakes, these daily routines seem to keep you flowing. When you wake up on time, get the family on the ball and steadily follow your meticulous schedule, life is amazing. What happens when you oversleep, there is no hot water or a notice on your phone pops up that your account is overdrawn?  How do you react? Will your day continue in peace? This is daily living, it happens and when our spirits are fueled with scripture and prayer, we shall overcome!

There have been times when my daughter starts pulling my eyelids to wake me up and at that moment of frustration I would begin to mentally curse my day. My thoughts would instantly start to see everyone in displeasure. "Why can't I just wake up without human alarm clocks?! I can forget about a peaceful day." This is when the word of God storms in and reminds me that life is bothersome, but God is Awesome and it helps me demand peace! "Ok I'm up! I'm so glad I can wake up to my little girls smile! Today is a blessed day!" We must pray without ceasing!

John 16:33, New International Version (NIV)
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

    1. I agree with you, as challenging as it sometimes is, we must press toward love and gratefulness. I am glad you were able to find joy in the words.

    1. Good Morning! You asked where to get the Join this site, Google Connect button, sorry I deleted your question by mistake. I got it from the widgets list when you are doing your layout. Hope this helps. Thanks for joining Praying Families.
