Thank You God For Favor!

Gods Favor!

I ask you Father for forgiveness of my sins, seen and unseen. I praise you right now God for your Unmerited Favor! Pour it heavily around the world. Families open your arms, hearts and minds and receive it. Oh receive the Unmerited Favor our precious God has for you! Your power and might astonish me oh God! I’m moved that you want to bless us so profoundly! Soak us Lord! Soak these praying families with abundance this very moment! Saturate their children, their finances, and their relationships with your favor! Do it like I know you can! As David asked in Psalms 86:17, I ask you show us a sign of your favor oh God! FAVOR we receive you! FAVOR we are grateful for you!  God your word in Psalm 30: 5 says, “ For his anger last only a moment, but his favor last a lifetime; weeping may stay for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Thank you God, you are our all and all! We love you mighty King! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!!

Our destiny is one of favor! In 1 Peter 2:9 it says “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” Yes you are chosen people families. God handpicked you for such a time as this. Walk in your destinies this season and declare the praises of the Lord! March in victory and testify of his favor and loving kindness. Seek and you shall find, ask and he will answer!

Families’ let’s stand on Ephesians3:20 in our lives! It says “ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” He is able, God is fully equipped, he will withhold no good thing. So what if its delayed, who cares if it seems impossible and it doesn’t matter what the report says. Our God who is in control says in John 1:16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received, all had a share and we were all supplied with one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift heaped upon gift. Families pray without ceasing!

God has a plan for you!

God is not in a box! Families no matter your circumstance or state of mind, the Lord is working it out in your favor. Gods word says in Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. It also says in 1 Samuel 16:7 (MSG) But God told Samuel, “Looks aren’t everything. Don’t be impressed with his looks and stature. I’ve already eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart.”  Families we must proclaim Gods word over our households. Our children must know that in Jeremiah 29:11 it says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 

I wrote this poem below to express how we are at times in a place of  ambiguity, but God still sees our fight of good faith. Do not let your relationship with God be dictated to by the religious, judgmental or weak in faith. Be lead by our ultimate leader and be held by our minister of peace, Jesus The Christ, Our Lord and Savior. God has great things in store for those who diligently seek him. Keep seeking and do not become irresolute! This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it!  

I cry out to the Holy Spirit to fill  hearts and minds this day! I pray that families are not fooled into discouragement because of situations that do not determine destinies. Be reminded this day that God all Mighty is in control! Pray without ceasing!

A Psalm of Marilyn, 2013

So I’m standing here feeling crowded and sweaty,

But I’m still standing!

So I’m looking up to your heavenly kingdom yelling at you,

But I’m still seeking you.

The skin of my soul feels like corduroys and the wrinkles are irritating me,

But I’m still confessing.

I’m grateful, pissed off and trying to forgive all at the same time,

But I’m still overcoming!

With a garment of praise, I tear it and mourn yet again,

But you still hear me.

I surrender to my call and then try to run one more time,

But I’m still in righteous battle.

I chose this day to serve you without faltering,

And you pick me up.

Your increase has me at a new level,

And you receive all the glory.

The blessings of the Lord make me rich and add not sorrow,

And you never leave or forsake me!
