God is not in a box! Families no matter your circumstance or state of mind, the Lord is working it out in your favor. Gods word says in Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. It also says in 1 Samuel 16:7 (MSG) But God told Samuel, “Looks aren’t everything. Don’t be impressed with his looks and stature. I’ve already eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart.”  Families we must proclaim Gods word over our households. Our children must know that in Jeremiah 29:11 it says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 

I wrote this poem below to express how we are at times in a place of  ambiguity, but God still sees our fight of good faith. Do not let your relationship with God be dictated to by the religious, judgmental or weak in faith. Be lead by our ultimate leader and be held by our minister of peace, Jesus The Christ, Our Lord and Savior. God has great things in store for those who diligently seek him. Keep seeking and do not become irresolute! This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it!  

I cry out to the Holy Spirit to fill  hearts and minds this day! I pray that families are not fooled into discouragement because of situations that do not determine destinies. Be reminded this day that God all Mighty is in control! Pray without ceasing!

So I’m standing here feeling crowded and sweaty,

But I’m still standing!

So I’m looking up to your heavenly kingdom yelling at you,

But I’m still seeking you.

The skin of my soul feels like corduroys and the wrinkles are irritating me,

But I’m still confessing.

I’m grateful, pissed off and trying to forgive all at the same time,

But I’m still overcoming!

With a garment of praise, I tear it and mourn yet again,

But you still hear me.

I surrender to my call and then try to run one more time,

But I’m still in righteous battle.

I chose this day to serve you without faltering,

And you pick me up.

Your increase has me at a new level,

And you receive all the glory.

The blessings of the Lord make me rich and add not sorrow,

And you never leave or forsake me!

It's A New Season!

The fire has been extinguished and the earth is transitioning into a new season! Spring is here. As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, let us rise up and shout for the power and expectation we have because he has risen! In the natural, things do not stay the same. The amazing spring ephemerals, animal migration and awakening from hibernation. The earth tilts and causes some of its parts to become closer to the sun and others to move further away. That is life and it goes without saying. So we should know that our life in Christ brings seasons of change, hope, calamity or breakthrough. What season are you and your family in?  It may not be spring where you live, but when a season begins with the celebration of our living God rising from the dead, I believe nothing but prosperity, clarity and a brand new freedom should arise in our lives! Amen! Do you agree with me? Lets lead our families on the course of victory that Christ has set for us! Victory is here, as he did not die in vain.

Living God I come to you boldly and ask for forgiveness of my sins. My heart cries out for families across nations. May they see this season of greatness you have personally set before them, and for those who cannot see it, give them faith.  For we walk by faith and not by sight. I praise you in advance for this brand new season of victories and souls won for your glory. I speak life into this new season of prosperity and unity. One less divorce this season, one less foreclosure, one less suicide, one more promotion, one more reconciliation, one new prodigal son to return home! This is the season to escalate above and go beyond. We thank you for dying on the cross so that we could walk in this season of victory! In Jesus the Christ Name I pray. Amen!  Families we must pray without ceasing!

Psalm 27:14 (Message) I’m sure now I’ll see Gods goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit.

1 John 5:4-5 (Message) Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God.

Matthew 28: 5-7 (NIV) The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

New Year, New Journey, Praying Families!

Leviticus 20: 7-8 (msg) "Set yourselves apart for a holy life. Live a holy life, because I am God, your God. Do what I tell you; live the way I tell you. I am the God who makes you holy."  Families arise and Proclaim the Favor of the Lord upon your lives. People of God stand in your purpose and leap into your destinies. Suppress the spirits of fear and doubt, that season has passed; he has given us power, love and a sound mind! Sail out to the land of Milk and Honey and taste the goodness of the Lord! REALLY Believe that if he is for you, who can be against you. Don't let the lies of the enemy dictate your destiny any longer. God is in charge! What he says goes! What he does stand! In the Name of Jesus The Christ! Amen!!! Pray without ceasing!

It is imperative for us to proclaim what we want from the Lord, for our Families and our Nations! Any and everything from more laughter, better jobs, an end to sex trafficking or a new space for your church. Remember, James 5:16(kjv) The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

This verse and chorus below, from the song Hosanna, off of Hillsong Uniteds Album, All of The Above, spoke to me this evening. God gave Brooke Fraser a mighty vision when she wrote this song. The powerful voice of God is proclaiming this in our new season of harvest. Generations that have been afraid and discontented will rise up and take their place. It's a season where even those who couldn't sow last season, but remained faithful, will reap, as he did for Naomi and Ruth. (Ruth 2, NIV)
